Fund Channel, Amundi’s B2B fund distribution platform, and Union Mutualiste Retraite (UMR), a mutual organisation specializing in retirement savings, announce the creation of a strategic partnership agreement in the French mutualist retirement savings and life insurance sectors. With this agreement, UMR will have access to the vast panel of 600 asset managers available on the Fund Channel’s platform allowing it to diversify its offer of retirement savings investment solutions.
Created in 2002, the UMR core business focuses on complementary pension savings plans and manages €11.5 billion in assets (in market value) on behalf of its 374,436 members. An expert in retirement savings, UMR has developed a range of PER (French complementary retirement savings plan) in line with the PACTE Law, proposing a whole range of Units of Account (UA).
The partnership between UMR and Fund Channel has been in effect since early 2022. Moving forward, Fund Channel will cover all new PER products developed by UMR. UMR offers a true competitive retirement solution via multi-support individual savings plans. Furthermore, Fund Channel also supports the collection and recovery of commissions on behalf of the underlying funds.
